Heroe de Leon was created and produced to honor the late Mexican General Francisco Murguia.

Gen. Murguia, while fighting for Mexico during the Revolution, earned the nickname "Heroe de Leon" for his role in the Battle of Leon in 1915 defeating Poncho Villa's much larger army.

Heroe de Leon was developed by Gen. Murguia's great-grandson, Antonio Murguia, with the General's same passion for excellence and commitment to their native Mexico and its most famous export - Tequila.

Blanco: 

• Young, fresh and full of liveliness.
• Produced from the finest Highland agave, straight out of its second distillation.
• Clean and crisp with a slight peppery finish.
• 100% gluten-free with no additives.

Reposado: 

• Aged for over 6 months in used American Whiskey barrels.  Has a light nose, a slightly mineral mouth feel, and a clean finish.
• Can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or in a premium cocktail.

Anejo: 

• Ultra-smooth Anejo is aged for over 18 months in new and used bourbon barrels.
• Has a delightfully sweet nose, full and rich body, with a finishing hint of caramel.
